Clicking on the photos should make them larger
We sold all our cows and calves but decided to keep one bull because he was so gentle and we didn't want to get rid of him.
We had recently decided to sell him as we really didn't need him and we had bought some small, unbred heifers.
I took this photo last year through the office window. I looked out and these deer were in the field wondering where they were. I watched them for awhile and one jumped over the pipe fence and the other two crawled under. I didn't know deer could get down that low! Just some more exciting times on a farm.

don`t you love where you live i do also love all the pictures and word of the day on facebook
He is a pretty bull. We had a Limousin once who could sail over any fence we had!
This is sure a pretty time of year on the farm!
Will you breed the heifers before you sell them?
Enjoyed browsing through your latest entries on this blog. (Found you through your comment on Wee Inklings.) Your property looks really beautiful. We used to have a big vegetable garden in our last house, but now we live on a mountaintop with lots of trees--nice for shade in the summer, but can't grow sun-loving veggies, which we miss. There's nothing like boiling the water before you pick the corn! Stop by my two blogs when you get a chance, one for cards (this link) and the other for family and garden photos (Fox Mtn. on sidebar.) Your cards are nice, too!
